Sistherood DancersOnegei Shabbat and Kiddushim

Sandy Vigdor, Committee Chair

Tifereth Israel Sisterhood prides itself on being one of the few Sisterhoods in the country that still serves home baked treats at synagogue events.

Every week a devoted group of bakers meets to mix and decorate the cakes and cookies enjoyed after Shabbat Services. Volunteers also assemble the beautiful trays of sweets served to the congregation.

Sisterhood enables members and friends who wish to celebrate a simcha or happy occasion to share their joy with their friends by sponsoring an Oneg Shabbat or Kiddush in honor of their loved ones.

Extended Kiddush (approximately 250-300)

  • Challah, wine, extensive selection of exotic pastries, decorated cookies and cakes, nuts, raisins, mints, fresh flowers, and choice of colored napkins
