These members are divided into seventeen regions. Tifereth Israel USY is a chapter in Far West Region. Each Region is made up of chapters from local synagogues and in Far West there are over 40 chapters with approximately 2,000 USYers. Kadima is similar to USY except that the programming is geared to those in grades 4 to 6.

Far West Region sponsors Leadership Weekends, Kinnusim (weekend conclaves), Dances, Far West on Wheels a three-week bus tour, and Regional Convention. TIS USY sponsors, social, educational, social action, and religious programming on a monthly basis and strives to instill a sense of teamwork and a community.

What Does Kadima Do?

Kadima is a chapter based youth program. About every six weeks, TIS Kadima will sponsor social, educational, and social action programming for the youth of TIS in grades 4 to 6.
