Enjoy snacks and shmoozing prior to our child-friendly Kabbalat Shabbat service, which begins at 6:30 p.m. We’ll celebrate February birthdays as well as any other happy news. In honor the upcoming holiday celebrating the birthday of the trees, we invite everyone to express their “greenness” in whatever manner seems to fit. A guest reader will share a special story.

The first Friday of each month is Simcha Shabbat, an opportunity to celebrate children’s birthdays with a special blessing. We also love to hear about other joyous occasions: births, engagements, new homes, graduations and more. The evening begins with an informal gathering at 6:00 p.m. followed by an abbreviated family-friendly service at 6:30 p.m. and ends with a celebratory oneg Shabbat, usually featuring a special treat.

Tot Shabbat is perfect for preschool age children. For those under 18 months, do join us with an accompanying adult. Stories, songs, and fun activities await you! Midrash Shabbat
Second Saturday of each month

A “Light Lunch and Learn” program that follows Shabbat morning services on the second Saturday of each month. Enjoy a Kiddush luncheon and a guest speaker addressing a broad range of Jewish educational topics. Child care is available during the speaker. Shir Chadash Shabbat
Third Friday of each month
