Simcha Shabbat celebrates
Pray at the Park
Friday, September 2nd,
6:00 p.m.
We had such a wonderful time in August, we’re doing it again! The comfort of our own backyard, at Tifereth Israel Synagogue, was the perfect setting to enjoy this lovely evening. Join us for shmoozing and snacks before the Kabbalat Shabbat service begins at 6:30 p.m. All children celebrating birthdays this month will be called up for a blessing.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets to stretch out on and relax and don’t forget a dairy or pareve picnic dinner to enjoy following the service. The refreshing summer breezes and the twilight sky make a perfect backdrop and the kids will love our Shekhter Family Gan Yeladim (Children’s Park) playground.
Help us kick-off our Annual Operation Isaiah High Holy Day Food Drive by bringing a non-perishable food item to be donated to Jewish Family Service’ Hand Up Youth Food Pantry.
If you would like to contribute to the evening’s Oneg Shabbat, email Linda at office@tiferethisrael.com or phone (619) 697-6001 ext 103. This is a lovely way to commemorate a birthday, anniversary, or any other happy occasion.
