Guilty Pleasures, Savory Sins, and the New Year

Sunday, August 22nd, 10:30 a.m.

Coffee, tea, and chocolate are some of our favorite indulgences. But with issues such as fair trade, sustainability, and health benefits, it’s hard to know whether we are harming ourselves or the world around us. Join us to learn more about all of this and enjoy tasting a variety of samples provided by Trader Joe’s.

We’ll also share some ideas to help enhance your upcoming High Holy Day observances. Fun ideas, recipes, and more will be available for you to take home, including a special gift for each family to get ready for the holiday season.

Be sure to bring the kids to enjoy a special activity and then play on the playground. We’ll provide playground supervision and some treats for them, too.

The Braun Library will be open throughout this event and the kids will enjoy some guest readers.
