New Baby Shabbat in June 

Midrash Shabbat, June 13: Honor Your Father and Mother. TIS will host Jewish Family Service and hear about the wide variety of programs for Seniors, support for families facing challenging situations, and more information about the On The Go Program assisting Seniors in need of getting around. In addition,  information will be available for those who are interested in volunteering their time assisting Seniors in our community.

Make Shabbat Special

Simcha Shabbat: First Friday, 6:00 p.m.

Our monthly "Family Service," the first Friday of each month, is now "Simcha Shabbat." The evening will begin with snacks and shmoozing from 6:00 p.m. until the Kabbalat Shabbat “Service in the Round” at 6:30 p.m. Preschoolers will add their delightful voices to the service singing their favorite Shabbat songs and a variety of talented guests will join us each month. The service concludes at 7:15 p.m. with a themed Oneg Shabbat. The service and all activities will take place in the Cohen Social Hall.

We will wish Happy Birthday to children celebrating a birthday that month. This is also an opportunity to share other joyous events. Be sure to attend to celebrate an anniversary, engagement, new home, new job, etc.

In addition, if you would like to help contribute to the Kiddush for that evening, we ask that you make an $18.00 donation. Your contribution will be acknowledged. Daven & Dinner (or Daven & Dancing): Third Friday, 6:15 p.m.

The third Friday of each month is our Daven & Dinner. Kabbalat Shabbat will begin at 6:15 p.m. Our Shabbat celebration will feature storyteller Jamie Cohen, with is tremendous talent and enthusiasm, or we will have another very special guest.

Services will conclude by 7:00 pm. and either Shabbat dinner or Israeli dancing will follow. On the months hosting dinner, Jamie or another staff member will lead an interactive fun family activity. On the other months we will enjoy Israeli dancing.
