Circle of Friends: Chavurot at Tifereth IsraelThe Chavurah program is coordinated by Beth Klareich and a Chavurah Committee. They will put you in touch with others who are interested the Chavurah experience, help you organize the first few meetings, and suggest some programs and activities that are available to you throughout the San Diego Jewish community. The Tifereth Israel Community Orchestra is a unique, all-volunteer ensemble that performs five concerts a year at Tifereth Israel Synagogue with additional dates in other venues.
One of the most successful volunteer experiments in recent years has been the Kiddush Committee, a cooperative that pools the resources of members to provide Kiddushim for Bar and Bat Mitzvah parents. For more information, email tifereth@tiferethisrael.com or call the office at 619 697-6001.

Its high quality has been recognized by United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism who presented it a regional Solomon Schechter Gold Award in 2005 and a national Solomon Schechter Silver Award in 2007 for excellence in synagogue programming.
