Music: Music is an integral part of the preschool's curriculum with a music specialist attending each class weekly. In addition, Rabbi Rosenthal joins the children and the parent participation classes on Fridays with his accordion to bring the Shabbat songs to life.
After School Enrichment: After School Enrichment programs are offered on a regular basis, such as Mad Science, Perk Club (a physical education program), Kindermusik, Sing 'n' Speak Spanish and Hebrew. Enrichment programs vary every sesson.
Meals and Snack: A nutritious snack is planned daily. Often the class bakes and prepares their own snacks. Inquire about our optional kosher hot lunch program.
Shabbat and Holiday Programs: Shabbat and Holidays familiarizes young children with synagogue life and experiences, helping them develop a warmth and understanding for Jewish home rituals and Holiday celebrations.
Field Trips: Field Trips are planned a few times a year, and include such things as visit to the local fire station, the zoo, and Del Cerro Manor, a nearby Jewish retirement home.
Special Guests: Special Guests are invited to bring the wonderful outside world to our curious preschools from the "Reptile man" to our local Police Officer and Mail Carrier.
Parent Education Programs are offered such as "Kindergarten Readiness program" and "Bagels with the Rabbi" which gives parents an opportunity to discuss pertinent topics in an informal and friendly environment.

A great beginning starts at Silverman Preschool with our "Oh Baby" program for children from birth to 12 months, accompanied by an adult and "First Steps" especially for children 13-24 months old. In addition to our regular preschool classes for 2-5 year olds, we are now proud to also offer a new class for 18 month old children. There is a 2,3 or 5 day option.
Come and share a sensational summer at Silverman Preschool's Camp K'Tonton - ages 18 months old to Kindergarten-age plus a Walkers and Crawlers class (ages 0 to 2 years, accompanied by an adult). Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We offer 2, 3 and 5-day programs. Extended Hours are also offered for your convenience. Extended days are fully supervised with daily planned activities and enrichment programs.
Morning daycare is 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Afternoon daycare is 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, afternoon daycare is 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
