A Comedy about the Journey Between
Popping the Question and Tying the Knot
Grab your gal pals and let’s get ready for another night out! We’ll meet at BJ’s in La Mesa for cocktails, dinner featuring a baked potato bar and specialty salads, and then our feature film at Reading Cinema in Grossmont Center.

From the producers of Bridesmaids, this romantic comedy charts the ups and downs of an engaged couple’s relationship. The director and writer/star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall reteam for the irreverent comedy The Five-Year Engagement. Beginning where most romantic comedies end, the new film from director Nicholas Stoller, producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Rodney Rothman (Get Him to the Greek) looks at what happens when an engaged couple, Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle. The film was written by Segel and Stoller.
Visit the official website for the film and view the trailer.
